You're wondering why there a section of this web site on secret places? We like to hunt out spots of natural beauty or man-made things that are unique. If we told you all about them with easy directions to get there, they would no longer be enjoyable. In many cases the parking or the natural environment in and around such things can't support large crowds of people.

We were in a quandry, should we post pictures and directions or not? Finally we came up with a solution. We will provide you with a series of clues or a riddle to enable those of you who are really dedicated and interested to find the hidden treasures. This will limit the number of people in these pristine locations. The answers to the clues will be found somewhere on this web site.

Those of you who live in beautiful places... Keep them off lists. (Garrison Keillor, Praire Home Companion 6/13/1998, as I was writing this).

So... poke around the site and figure out the clues. Them pack up your stuff, bring the camera and a lot of film, and see if you figured it out! (Better yet, buy the film here, where there's no sales tax)!
