Taken in August, 1997 about 4 years after the area had been clear cut. Enjoy the view while you can. When the area was cut the tree huggers protested. Now that it's growing back very quickly some of the same folks are upset because they are losing the view. Go figure.
The highway is route 3 going down the hill into Lancaster.
