It looks like the Mountain View House in Whitefield, NH has a new lease on life! The principals of Craffey Construction of Hanover, MA have bought it for 1.3 million dollars and are already hard at work planning the restoration.

They have their work cut out for them, but this grand resort with commanding views of the mountains of the Great North Woods and the White Mountains is worth the effort!

I'll do my best to keep you posted with pictures and info on the restoration and completion of this project. They have set an ambitious schedule lets wish them well!
