Moose (Scientific name, Monsterous Cardestroyerous)

This memorial is at exit 29 in Thornton, New Hampshire. The fellow was driving along, minding his own business when a moose darted in front of him. Presently our fish and game laws prevent hunters from shooting a moose near the road. Wouldn't it make sense to get rid of the ones who are dumb enough to frequent the highways? Who cares about the ones out in the woods? Are we breeding a new strain of extra dumb moose by not shooting the dumb ones by the roads and killing the ones that are smart enough to stay away from the roads? We need to leave some road moose along route 16 in part of Cambridge and Erroll and along route 3 in part of Pittsburg for the tourists, the rest of the "road moose" belong in freezers feeding people rather than blundering into cars.

This obituary is at the top of the cross. .

Here's what's left from his car. . .
