Moose (Scientific name, Monsterous Cardestroyerous)

On May 6, 1998 I was headed down route 3 in Lancaster and came upon this scene by Mountain Lake Campground. Some folks had been coming up for vacation in their Chevy pickup when this moose charged out of the darkness into their truck.

If you look close you'll see the "buttons" of antlers just forming in front of his ears. .

The flash unit on the ground is a slave flash you can get for 20 bucks at Ritz Camera that senses the camera flash to fire. .
